Experience and enjoy traditional BONSAI

This is an experiential course where you can enjoy and learn about traditional culture while admiring “BONSAI,” which is a specialty of Kawaguchi.

In the first half of the course, we will invite Mr. Fumiya Taguchi, a curator at the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum, to talk about the history and charm of BONSAI, as well as the future of bonsai culture, together with Mr. Seiji Iimura, a bonsai master.

In the second half of the experience, we will hold a “Mini Bonsai Workshop,” where you can create your own bonsai to take home. Using Japanese white pine as the material, you will enjoy the traditional technique of wiring and shaping bonsai according to your preferences.
