ATLIA Art Course: “Still Life Drawing”

While learning how to structurally observe motifs, participants will engage in drawing using pencils and charcoal. A lecture on the history of Western painting is also planned.
Tools will be provided at ATLIA, so feel free to join us empty-handed.

Teacher profile
Shirou Iwata
A painter (oil painting). Born in Kawaguchi City, he studied art in England after graduating from high school.
After serving as an art instructor at Keio Junior High School, he resumed his career as an artist in earnest and continues to this day.
Graduated from the Art Foundation Course at Cambridge State College of Arts and Crafts.
Graduated from the Fine Arts Department at Gloucester State College of Art.
Completed the Post-Diploma Course at the Byam Shaw School of Art.
