Creating a Collage: Animal Kingdom of the Forest

During the summer vacation period, we will be holding a participatory workshop at ATLIA where participants can create their own “Animals” and place them in the created “Forest.” The workshop will be divided into morning and afternoon sessions. In the morning, we will use acrylic paints to create original colored papers. In the afternoon, we will engage in collage-making, using various tools to explore different forms of expression. The artworks created will be displayed in the spacious area of ATLIA, filling it with the participants creations. Please note that the exhibition of the artworks will run until August 16th (Wednesday).

Takuro Okumura (Sculptor)

1983
Born in Niigata Prefecture.
2008
Graduated from the Sculpture Course at Tohoku University of Art and Design.
2010
Completed the Graduate Program in Art and Culture, specializing in sculpture, at Tohoku University of Art and Design.
Currently
He carries out his artistic activities at a studio in Kawaguchi City. In addition to solo and group exhibitions held in various locations, he also conducts educational activities using art as a medium. He is the director of Media Seven Art School in Kawaguchi City.
