“ATLIA Art Course: ‘Drawing Dragons in Suiboku-ga – Experience Japanese Painting'”
While observing taxidermy specimens of animals that make up dragons, participants will create artworks using techniques from Suiboku-ga (ink wash painting) and materials from Japanese painting. An introductory lecture on Japanese painting materials and techniques will also be provided.

Tadashi Kurosawa
- 1938
- Born in Ryokami Village, Chichibu District, Saitama Prefecture.
- 1962
- Graduated from the Japanese Painting Department of the Tokyo University of the Arts.
(Studied under Ason Maeda, Hideo Iwahashi, and Ikuo Hirayama) - 2009
- Became the chairman of the Kawaguchi City Artists Association. (Until around 2011)
- 2013
- Received the 8th Kawaguchi City Cultural Award.
- Present
- Currently enjoying special benefits at the Japan Art Academy.
