Program for School

Currently under preparation.

ATLIA works together with schools and educational institutions to nurture children’s creativity and sensitivity through a variety of programs. In learning appreciation sessions and workshops, curators provide easy-to-understand explanations of artworks, allowing students to deepen their understanding of art and experience the joy of expression.

By connecting with school curricula, we support students in developing independent learning through both viewing and creating art. Our goal is to make ATLIA a “living place of learning” and to provide a richer educational environment.

In addition, we also take part in “Kawaguchi no Genki Yume Work,” a career experience program in collaboration with junior high schools in the city.

Study meeting in ATLIA

At ATLIA, we support activities that give students the opportunity to have meaningful encounters with artworks during their visit. One such program is the Learning Appreciation Session, where we spend about 30 minutes walking through the exhibition rooms together, viewing the works while engaging in conversation. Through this communication-focused art appreciation, we foster active and deep learning.

We welcome visits not only for elementary and junior high school art classes, but also for field trips, club activities, and other occasions. Please make use of these sessions as an introduction to our exhibitions for your students.

For applications and details about the Learning Appreciation Session, please refer to the [Application & Details PDF].
Note: This program is available only during exhibition periods and will be scheduled according to the availability of our staff.

Workplace experience program in ATLIA

We participate in “Kawaguchi no Genki Yume Work,” a workplace experience program for junior high school students in Kawaguchi City. At ATLIA, each participant sets their own goals before the experience begins, learns about ATLIA’s roles, objectives, and functions, and gains an understanding of social rules and etiquette. On the day of the program, we create a flexible schedule tailored to the students’ interests and goals, based on prior meetings.
・Main activities include:

・Facility tour (orientation)

・Behind-the-scenes tour

・Museum curatorial work experience

・Exhibition monitoring

・Public relations work experience

・Viewing exhibitions in the rental gallery

Do you want me to also make a natural, PR-friendly English version so it feels less like a direct translation and more like it was originally written in English? That would work better for overseas readers.
